The biggest disadvantage of staying at Jurerê Beach is its narrow stretch of sand, which is quite limited in some areas. However, because the beach is extensive, it remains perfect for enjoying the day. Additionally, since it is a more exclusive neighborhood, Jurerê is one of the most expensive places to stay in Florianópolis.

If you want to stay in the more luxurious and modern part of the neighborhood, choose Jurerê Internacional, which offers more houses and apartments. But if you prefer the more traditional part, stay in Jurerê Leste (or simply Jurerê), where most of the hotels are located.

The biggest downside of staying at this beach is that it is far from the northern beaches. Therefore, you’ll be a bit distant from the island’s more popular beaches. However, for those with a car, the distance isn’t an issue.
